Just your typical, manic-depressive Ranger fan that lives in Austin. I have an Ian Kinsler statuette (Frisco Rough Riders version) on my desk and I listen to The Ticket online as often as I can.
To cement my status as a Ranger die-hard, let it be known that I married my soulmate in a suite at the Ballpark in 2007. The ceremony, if it can really be called that, was attended by the great Jamey Newberg and actually got a little mention in Baseball Prospectus. The officiant was my dear friend Devin Pike, who has done a lot of work for Newberg on the website and past Bound Edition volumes.
I find myself rejuvenated every year with the first pitch, and - this year more than any other - eagerly await my Scott Lucas daily recaps of the Texas farm system.
I also wonder why we can't always play two...

I also like to kick it old-school alternative. i.e. The Smiths, The Cure, REM, Hoodoo Gurus, etc. Alt-country is also a favorite genre: Whiskeytown, Wilco, and more. For newer stuff, I absolutely love The Killers. That band is really creeping up my personal chart. And check out The Weakerthans. They are the best thing to come out of Canada since Jeff Zimmerman.)
